Cape Weather

cape weather

Only one more week to Halloween which means coats are pretty much a must most days. On those days were it is still cool but not cold I tend to look towards my capes. They still are toasty but showcase more layers. This outfit is a riff on my all time favourite blog outfit seen here

I am definitely not one to shy away from repeating outfits. Especially on classic looks this, where you can simply switch out a fur collar or the stripe shirt for a different spin on the same look. In fact if we all shop right this is EXACTLY what we all should be doing. Buying quality items that last for years and not one season.

Remixing them to keep them fresh year after year. It is easy to get in a rut with blogging and only sharing new items that are in store right now. It is easy to be inspired with new items but I like to share how I am still wearing old item too.

In fact everything from this outfit is past seasons. Some of them by multiple years. That doesn’t mean you can’t get the same look. Start with jeans and a stripe top, top with a cape. Add midcalf boots and a plaid scarf. Next if you are feeling chilly fur trimmed gloves and you can get the same bag only in a different colour.
