Just a quick post sharing my work outfit from yesterday. Fairly basic for me really once the temperatures drop. A turtleneck sweater in a bright hue basically makes an otherwise standard work outfit a bit more fun. I picked up this cobalt blue merino wool turtleneck sweater from JCREW Factory. It is very similar to this red one I posted about last year.
It was cold enough to pull out an actual winter coat yesterday. I thought at first that I might be a bit over dressed but the cool temperatures in the morning told me otherwise. This type of coat is perfect for when you are not too sure that it is really going to be cold. When it is a bit warmer I can just wear the coat open. It does not have a button closure so you have to tie it shut when you want to bundle up.
I picked up this version of the coat last year on and end of season sale. Club Monaco has come out with a similar patterned coat albeit in a slightly different style. Pick it up on sale right now via Shopbop.
