What I wore

Easy Summer: Jennifer Fukushima x torontoShopoholic

Before I went away to Brazil Toronto designer Jennifer Fukushima sent me this gorgeous open knit, shirt sleeved cowl sweater. To me it just screams summer and if I had of been smart I would have taken it with me to Brazil because those nights were cool! Instead I had to wait for a non rainy weekend to get some shots of this sweater styled for a Canadian summer instead.

Originally I had this exact outfit paired with a pair of tan skinny jeans which I really liked, it was all neutral and went together really well but I don’t know what screams summer more than a pair of white jeans so I switched it up for you.

The Spinosus Cardigan Hole Knit that I am wearing above is lovely quality. I like that the sizing is generous as opposed to being snug. I find that sometimes this style of sweater comes in a one size fits all and that doesn’t always work for us bustier girls. I can easily close this and belt it if I want to keep it closed. The open knit is a fun alternative and could be paired with black jeans and boots for an edgier look.

The tie sandals were a last minute addition to my Brazil packing because these sandals that I pre-ordered ages ago still haven’t arrived let alone in time for the holiday. The Valia Gabriel sandals are gorgeous quality and were actually really comfortable. Making sure they stay tied is their only real issue.
