One way to change up the look of your winter coat is to layer over a vest. I have done this before a few times (here and here) and it always adds a new dimension to something that we wear day in and day out through the cold winter months.
I think the great thing about a long furry vest like this one above is that not only do you get the contast in colour but also in texture.
How is everyone feeling as the Christmas holidays inch closer? I am feeling pretty good about my Christmas shopping but less confident that our house will be in order for the 30 + members of my Husbands family come over to our house for Christmas dinner. I really need to dedicate some time to organizing the basement play room to have lots of space to put away the toys that seem to continually carpet our floor.
The rest of our family gatherings will happen before and after Christmas day and not at our house so the pressure is off me that way.
What about you? Any hosting duties?

Hey Jane, love the look!! I always layer my vest on top of my coats or blazers too, it really does add some nice texture and dimension. Love the color of this coat.
