Still Hot; The Coatigan

Last year I wrote about a trend that was emerging out of the whole sweater coat style; The Coatigan. I had many people ask me about the term and how they had not heard of it but I swear it is a thing. I mean if the likes of Miranda Kerr is wearing them they must be a thing right?!

Part cardigan, part coat, there is a bit more structure that a sweater coat or duster which makes it the perfect car coat style.

I love this style of coat for everyday wear through the fall. It is so easy. Can’t you picture it with some skinny jeans and  boots?

I almost styled this outfit without a top because I find that in the cooler months I could wear a fabulous silk top or just a simple t-shirt that it is really all about the coat.

I love everything about this style. The coziness of a sweater but the structure of a great coat. Leather trims really take it up a notch.
