Managing the Transition; Fall Outfit Completers

If you haven’t caught the Fall bug yet you will soon. I always seem to get that itch when back to school shopping frenzy starts. Even though I haven’t gone back to school in quite some time.

Before you ever need a Winter coat, it is more about managing the transition. Cool evenings, colder mornings. Sometimes just admitting you need to wear socks again is a big deal.

But just tweaking a few things can take you from Summer to Fall in no time.

Complete your Fall look with the following:

So the whole transition to fall doesn’t happen over night so you won’t need to throw all of this on all at once. You will probably start with a scarf, then maybe the boots. Once it gets really cold you might want to layer the vest over a boucle blazer to get that whole cool contrast sleeve thing going on.

I like the idea of wearing the scarf with the pink in it through Indian summer and as it gets colder transition towards the scarf with the purples, browns and beige.

So I don’t want to skip straight to weather that is approaching zero but I will be ready to add a scarf and switch to booties when the time comes.
