This should be in your closet; Denim Pencil Skirt
One thing that I think should be in every girl’s closet is a denim pencil skirt. The 90’s favourite denim mini is making a bit of a comeback of late (what from the 90’s isn’t?!) but I think a pencil skirt has more longevity.
This Earnest Sewn denim pencil skirt I am wearing above has been in my closet for more than 5 years. It was one of those legendary Winners (TJMAXX for you US readers) that dreams are made of. The seaming makes you look way smaller which I love.
This entire outfit is full of staples really. White blouse (on sale at Anthropologie HERE), black leather biker jacket (similar here), black strappy heels. Easy Peasy.
We had a bit of a sad weekend over at our house. My Husband’s Aunt passed and Sunday was the viewing at the Funeral Home, so family and friends came by to say their final goodbyes. And yet at the same time while we are immersed in the sadness of the passing of a lovely woman, it was great to see everyone on a weekend that we probably wouldn’t have gotten together usually.
Hopefully your weekend was a bit happier than ours.
I did have alot of fun visiting my favourite Toronto consignment boutique over at Jane & Annette, Coco’s Closet on Saturday. Nadia the owner was throwing an end of season sale and I scored a couple of great things which you will see on this blog in the coming weeks. I love pencil skirts, and yours. I also love that you paired it with leather. I cannot get enough of leather. I think moto jackets like yours can be added to almost any outfit to add the perfect amount of edge. Hot!
