what I want

Joe Fresh Fall 2012 Collections

I was out last night at the LouLou Magazine Joe Fresh Shopping event at the Queen & Portland Joe Fresh in Toronto.

Usually I turn around at the first sign of a line up because lets face it I could go there today and be line free but I wanted to check out what was new in store for fall and the line to get into the shopping party seemed to be moving fairly quickly.

I probably waited about 10 minutes to get in and then I was ready to get my shop on. The first thing I noticed was a fun printed green silk blouse. I am a sucker for anything printed and the bold green is such a lovely colour.

It might feel a bit retro but if you are conservative it is the exact punch your basic black suit needs.

As we know orange is the signature colour of Joe Fresh and this year they are pairing it with grey which is one of my favourite colour combinations.

Yes those are sequin sleeves on a baseball style shirt; a fun alternative to all the leather sleeves we are seeing this season.

The orange coat at the end of the rack is a toggle coat which is one of the looks we saw on the Joe Fresh Fall runway at fashion week. Other looks that have hit the stores from fashion week are the small chanel-esque puffer jacket and houndstooth prints.

Other items I liked were some of their shoes. The burgundy pointy toe flats and the small heels on these below.

Other items I liked were the grey oversized cocoon sweaters that looked super cozy.

I didn’t end up buying anything as the line up to pay was insane. 20% off was totally not worth waiting in a line that started on one side of the store (before the change rooms) wrapped through the mens section at the back and zig zagged through the athletic wear and into where you normally line up.

Still those shoes are pretty fab and I can’t wait to see if they will in fact bring out that motorcycle jacket from the fall runway.

What would you have waiting in line for?
