Hudson Cabaret; Fall Denim

Last night I was part of a group of Toronto Fashion peeps that got to preview the new Hudson Cabaret denim line for Fall 2012. The launch was in conjunction with Flare Magazine so lots of fashion insiders and then me.

The event was held at Parlour which was a great spot for a more intimate night of chatting and checking out the latest Hudson denim.

The girls above are in the LeeLou jean. The style is a denim spin on the tuxedo pant and they come in a range of colours. The name however has me instantly saying Leeloo Dallas Multipass… but I digress.

Check out the LeeLou in action in the video above. You might notice the lovely face of Georgia May Jagger, the new face of Hudson Denim. She has also collaborated with Hudson on her own capsule collection of denim that is said to merge the rebellious soul of London and the freedom of California.

This year is also the 10th Anniversary of Hudson jeans as they were founded in 2002, you know back before everyone was rocking premium denim?! I know its hard to remember that far back.

In honour of their 10 years they have launched some Anniversary denim, those shown above. Personally I don’t have the guts or the bod to pull off the Union Jack but the cobalt jeans are a pretty fab colour.

Now I know you are all wondering what I wore to this event. Well denim of course. I started out in heels but then I realized I would have to do a bit of walking so I transferred to my trusty gladiator sandals.
