Feeling the Fall itch; looking forward to Fall Fashion

I know it’s only July, and people who love it hot are going to call me crazy but I am already looking forward to fall.

I find it so hard to feel put together when I am sweaty and can only manage one layer. I long for jackets and scarves.

And you are going to feel the itch too when you see the 200 page Vogue on newsstands and pre-fall clothing hit the stores in a few weeks.

The one item that is at the utmost top of my list is a new Trench coat for Fall 2012.  I know a Trench is usually associated with Spring, but the transition from Summer to Fall can be a long one and you don’t need to fast forward to wearing bulky wool coats right away. A Trench coat can be a great way to look pulled together without having a bulky layer before you need it.

I think for me, I am looking for a classic trench with a twist. I want something that can easily work for Spring and Fall, but details that make it  special.

I could scour resale shops for an affordable Burberry coat, but I think I am more leaning towards the bespoke moodbyme coat I designed with the Liberty floral lining and contrast details.

Really when it comes to trenches anything goes; they can be ultra modern and sleek or feminine with ruffles, pleats and a full skirt.

Which trench do you have or do you want?
