While I will admit to thinking that Mother’s Day is one of those contrived greeting card holidays, it is hard to not want to celebrate Mom.
But what to get a woman who has given you so much? Stay thoughtful, remember to get her something she would like not what you want her to like and a personal touch never hurts.
When it comes to buying jewellery for people just watch what they wear and play off that. Also listen when she utters “oooooh I like that!”
My parents ALWAYS go on a vacation in May, right around Mother’s Day. My Dad is a CA so when tax time is over they pack their bags. That means vacation worthy items like a fun towel (love the voicemail one) or a new beach bag.
