Getting Sneaky; falling for the sneaker hightop trend

I will admit that I am pretty smitten with the Isabel Marant high tops. I mean they are super cool and luxurious at the same time. And apparently alot of other people think so to as these sneakers are on back order. These sneakers have been seen on everyone from Miranda Kerr and Kate Bosworth to street style mavens and bloggers alike.

I mean these aren’t your Chuck Taylors. And somehow Isabel Marant has taken an urban style and made it coveted by every fashionable preppy white girl around (including me). And there are now a host of copy cats which means we don’t have to be on a wait list and pay $700 for a pair of sneakers.

Nine West has actually came out with some really cool options for under $100, which are now unfortunately all sold out. My favourites below are still pricey but still half of the Isabel Marant versions.
