5 Beauty Products I Can’t Live Without (April Edition)

I blogged about the beauty products I was using back in January and truthfully I still use all of these products almost daily. Most of what I mentioned were hair related and I thought I would share with you some of the other products I use that are in high rotation right now.

Beauty products I am using now

1. Bobbi Brown Lip Gloss

bobbi brown lip glossI have been really trying to get into lipstick but I always gravitate back to gloss. Sure I hate how when the wind blows my hair and it gets stuck on my lips but other than that I just like the way it moisturizes and give my lips a healthy look.

Bobbi Brown Lip glosses particularly are super moisturizing. I have a peachy shade from a couple of years ago but I wanted something brighter and recently picked up Rosey 22.

When I am not wearing Bobbi Brown I am just putting a quick swipe of the Burts Bees tinted lip balm also in Rose.

2. Maybelline Illegal Length Mascara

illegal length mascaraOne of the cool things about fashion week are the swag bags. Ok so I really only got one but still I found an amazing Mascara because of it; Maybelline Illegal Length.

Honestly I love the look of my lashes when I use this mascara. They are longer but more than that I notice that it is so easy to define almost every lash. I used to spend alot of time to not get clumpy lashes and this mascara makes my lashes look amazing with minimal swipes.

3. Bumble & Bumble Prep

bumble & bumble prepThere are two products that I use interchangeably to detangle, moisturize and ready my hair before I blow it dry.

The first I mentioned in the last post is Moroccan Oil. My issue with Moroccan Oil is you have to be really careful not to use too much or your hair will feel greasy and heavy. I do have it pretty much down to a science as to how much to use, still sometimes I just need to take a break.

That is when I pull out the Bb Prep. It is lightweight, and my hair is light and bouncy after it drys. Plus it doesn’t have the perfumey smell of Moroccan Oil.

Sometimes I really need the extra moisture of the Moroccan Oil, but when I don’t I switch over to this product. Bumble & Bumble Prep is great for those who want something but don’t use alot of other styling products in their hair.

So that’s it – the top 3 products I am using now in addition to those that I shared before. I am really pumped about restocking my Arbonne Re9 Day creme. I ran out and my skin is cursing me for not having any and just using what was left over from before (bad idea).

What products are you using these days?
